2006 Pinot Grigio Villa Puccini Friuli - Italy Price: $9.99 Rating: 4 At This Price A Good Buy We like most Italian whites. We find them generally quite easy to drink, and when served cold, will go with a great many different foods. Left to warm to room temperature, they begin to develop a floral aroma which is quite pleasing. They also begin to show their sweetness and distinction. So whether you like them cold or a bit warmer (room temperature, not hot) and more distinctive is up to you, but we think youll like most Italian whites, especially Pinot Grigio. Last night our family had the pleasure of tasting this wine. We all agreed that it was very easy to drink, typical of this wine. It had good balance between the sweet and dry elements (which can be controlled by the drinking temperature) and finished with a mild, pleasant aftertaste. We gave it a 4: A must buy at this price.
