This wine was an unexpected treat.  Given it was on sale and given I bought it simply to have a white wine option for my guests, I was pleasantly surprised.  This was a blend of both Garganega and Pinot Grigio grapes, but predominantly Garganega (80%), it had a fresh, lively taste, with a hint of vanilla on the finish.  It went well with fish and chicken.  Soft to drink, it is a good wine for beginners because of its price (even when not on sale) and because of how easy it was to drink.  Not a complex wine by any means, it was simply just a nice wine to drink.  Given the price, it was a 4, a must buy.  If you see this wine for $10 or more, I’d pass on it.
